ETM Debugger for S32K3X4EVBQ257ND Evaluation Board

Hi,

1.Can you recommend me now an ETM debugger supported by S32DS 3.4 Design Studio and

S32K3X4EVBQ257ND Evaluation Board? (Maybe Segger J-Trace Pro?)Maybe in the near future?

2.There are differences in performance (Flashing speed and integration in S32 Studio) between non ETM debugger NXP S32 Debug Probe and P&E Micro Multilink FX?

Hi Radu,

S32 Debug Probe does not support S32K3 and currently there are no plans to add this support.

Currently S32DS supports only Pemicro probes and Lauterbach. In case of Lauterbach, it just calls Trace32 from Lauterbach, there's no direct support in S32DS itself.

For tracing, you need a probe and debugging SW from other vendors like mentioned Segger or Lauterbach. Please contact them for details.
