Master-Slave configuration for A53-M7 cores on S32G-VNP-RDB2

Hi Experts,

Looking through the SDK and reference manuals provided for the platform at https://nxp.flexnetoperations.com/control/frse/download?element=12593397 i.e. the Automotive SW Linux BSP28.0 I am not sure if there's support for the use-case we're trying to implement.

Ideally we would like to run Linux on the A53 cluster in SMP mode and then load an RTOS on the M7 cores from Linux and start M7. These are the sort of workflows supported on i.MX platforms with the imx_rproc Linux driver. Are there any such resources/guidelines/drivers for the S32G platforms?

In a typical boot scenario for S32G, M7 core starts first, initializes the
system and releases A53 cores. For this reason, there are no
ready software demos which start A53 cores first, although this sequence is
also possible. You can find ready multiple core boot demos in
Integration Reference Examples software package. Use online Automotive
Software Package Manager to obtain it.

Platon
