Hi,

I'm looking into the 802.1AS/gPTP support for the S32G and could not find any detail document that discuss the various blocks involved in enabling PTP support on this device (eg. GMAC0, PFE_MACx HW timestamping msg filter setting, how to sync the timestamp counter from a global time base). Wondering if anyone knows of any documentation that focuses on time sync for S32G product.

Thanks.

Both PFE and GMAC Linux drivers in Automotive BSP 30 have hardware timestamping
support enabled. You only have to add linuxptp package to your root filesystem
image. For that, add 'IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " <packages to be added>"' to
your local.conf, rebuild and redeploy. Refer to ptp4l manpage for the tool usage details.

Automotive BSP 30 can be obtained by using online Automotive Software Package Manager.
See the BSP User Guide for basic installation and usage instructions.

Best Regards,
Platon
