Hello,

I have had some experience with MPC and QorIQ PowerPC-based MCUs/processors and I intend to give a try to the newer ARM-based families.

When working with QorIQ devices, I used to do some basic testing either by calling my applications directly from U-boot (uploading it via serial or Ethernet having built it with the GHS compiler) or by running it from the GHS debugging envionment, uploading it and debugging it with the GHS probe.

Are these two scenarios available in the S32G evaluation board? I.e., can I 1) run some bare-metal application by simply using the "go" U-boot command; 2) Use the GHS environment for more detailed debugging?

By the way: does the board comes with the processor? If yes, which model is shipped with the board?

Thanks,

Ricardo

Hello,

They are available on the S32GEVK, but the compiler you have to go with GHS. you can run a bare metal project on it, for debugging you have to ge with greenhills.

The core is ARM53 and S32G2 comes with the board.

Regards
