1.is the S12(X) family reprogrammable and how may times??? 2.Is it possible to use other software instead of CW???? thats all for now..... tnx for replying...........

and also where can i find the list of available instruction set for the S12(x) family,256 and 512???

Other compilers are available such as Cosmic.

The number of w/e cycles flash can handle can be found in the Electrical Characteristics Appendix in the Data book. Generally the values are minimum: 10K, typical 100k.

A complete instructrion set can be found in the Data book available on the relevent product page at freescale.com.
