I have designed a motor control prototype board based on a S12Z MagniV microcontroller. I will be purchasing the U-MULTILINK programmer/debugger to flash the motor control firmware.
Is it mandatory to buy a Flash Programming Software to be able to program the MCU? Are there any no-cost solution for that?
Reading the U-MULTILINK datasheet, I was able to find the section regrading compatible software, but couldn't get the full answer.
