FRDM-LS1012A Board Qspi nor Quad mode

hi, 

we purchased one FRDM-LS1021A board, want to de-solder onboard current Qspi nor, and re-solder one Micron Qspi nor with Quad mode. From your document and schematic said that this board only can support X1 or X2 mode.

does this mean that your PCB layout isn't for X4?

Hi Pavel,

I would like to modify this design for having the 4 bit routed? I observed the signal PROC_RESET_REQ_B, which is the 4th QSPI bit,  is used to reset the board. Can you describe when is this signal asserted?

Yes, the FRDM-LS1012A layout uses only two data lines of the LS1012a QSPI. See attached screenshot of the FRDM-LS1012A schematic:
