Hello,

the boost chip is producing a voltage in power up
in the picture Below you find the phase of initialization before setting the output voltage

shaher_0-1705931370672.jpeg

as you see above there's ramp up in voltage before entering NVM mode this mean in configuration mode the voltage is ramping up,
kindly note :

CFG_DN in NVM is 0
power supply voltage is 13 volt.
Blue line is Enable Pin ,Green line is Boost output voltage.
the picture without drawing :

so the question is why there's ramping up in voltage configuration mode even the voltage out should be off?
best Regard,
shaher

Hello,

The system die a good job in reducing the picture size, but unfortunately, everything you put in the picture is unreadable.

However, I can give it a try with an explanation, but this one can be completely off.

The ASL2057 is using a conventional boost circuit.

This one has per nature a path from VBAT to Vout.

During operation this path is used during the freewheeling phase of the system to generate the higher output voltage.

However the path is of course always there.

Due to this you will always see some voltage at the output, even when the IC is off.

Hope this helps.
