1.why CAN SBC(UJA1169/UJA107X) need SPI communication?
I want to know the role of SPI in the CAN SBC,because I found that such LIN SBC(TJA1028) without SPI.
2.Now my project want to cost down,when system no operate we want to made the system in sleep or standby mode,it is can only use TJA1042 & external LDO with wake function replace the UJA1169?
thank you for your relpy,but I still want to know why CAN SBC such as UJA1169 need SPI,if I use TJA1042+LDO replace UJA1169,the CAN transceiver receive CAN L ,CAN H and then use uart communicate(RXD TXD) with the uC is enough,and the UJA1169 has uart and SPI.so I don't understand why the role of SPI.
1: SBC can provide the power supply and communicate with(SPI) MCU, also has function of LIN/CAN transceiver such as UJA1169.
TJA1028 is LIN transceiver + LDO
2:If you only need CAN transceiver function you can select the TJA104X.
