re:MPC8543 with Memory card interface.

I have a customer that wants to include a standard memory card interface on their own MPC8543 board.

Any suggestions on which one might have the easiest interface, example schematics or uboot

drivers?

The hardware designer wants to put something on the board now that will be able to hold as much

code as they might eventually have.

8543 has no ATA, USB, or SPI

 only local bus, I2C , PCIexpress and DUART

Compact Flash. You could use this on the local bus. Look at AN2647
