Urgent ,Why doesn't PTN3356 work ?

PTN3356 DisplayPort to VGA.

PTN3356 has ROM type and Flash type.

We used both  ROM type and Flash type, but didn't work.

We designed Schemetics that is copyed  NXP reference, so we think Schemetics is no problem.

Does it have to program? Does it  need a program using tool?

1) Crystal scope : 27MHz XTAL at power on,
oscilator about 1msec and  disappear 27M waveform.

2) Realtek's DP to VGA module:  It works well when we attach DP to VGA module to our DP port,

Hello,

I believe, we have a similar problem, Crystal  27MHz XTAL is not oscillating.  I will check if there is any clock activity following power up.

Please comment what was the root cause that you found.

Please check whether you schematic has a capacitor between SWOUT pin and PGND firstly!

OK , the 31 pin , SWOUT is connected 4.7uH input  ,and 4.7uH inductor output  is connected to 28 pin and CAP 4.7uF plus  0.1uF 3ea .

CAP out voltage , VDD 1.5V is OK .

Is it true that there is no need to program PTN3356 ROM or flash ROM using any down loading tools?
