TDA 8950J Can it be replaced with TDA8953J?

I designed a PCB for the TDA8950J without realising that it is EOL. It is verynhad to find but bI can get some TDA8953J. Are the any problems?

Hi,

Output power is different (TDA8950 2 × 150 W and TDA8953 2 × 210 W), but if this is not a problem for your application and audio performance, then you can use the TDA8953J as the replacement of the TDA8950J since they have the same functionality (just with Clock Protection added) and similar pinout. Just take in mind that pin 17 of the TDA8953 should be NC (Not Connect) and OSCREF pin 5 should be connected to ROSC.
