SJA1105 Data frame residence time

How long does the SJA1105 Data frame residence time？

It mean the data frame ingress to egress  time. Can be less than 10us?

Hi join_ren, 

Yes that is correct. Frame residence time refers to the duration a frame spends within the

switch. It includes the time the frame enters the switch intil its exits. 

The residence time of SJA1105 depends mainly on the interface being used(RGMII, RMII, MII). 

Please refer to chapter 9.1 (frame Latency) in Application Hints(AH 1704) for consolidated

measurements.
