SGTL5000 initiation and MCL question

Hi,

first , i want to ask if SGTL5000 can work without MCLK?
my purpose is to make a transparent headphone that just collect outside sound and play into headphone

if yes , is there any initiation code that about bypass mode without MCLK

Hi uveuvenouve,

SGTL5000 need an external oscillator connected to SYS_MCLK pin to work, and this should be between 8.0and 27MHz.
