The status of Not Recommended for New Design for this device does not mean that is discontinued; it means that NXP does not have a road map to follow for this particular device to continue and there is no discontinuation date available yet. You can still place an order with our authorized distributors. When NXP discontinue any product, we send a discontinuation notice providing at least 6 months to place the last orders and for the last shipments.
