I'm having a problem with the usage of KSZ8567 switch in our System-On-Module which uses i.MX 6ULL processor. The PTP Sync messages are being dropped and I can only see malformed follow-up messages on wireshark. Therefore, I'm not able to synchronize the time between the master and slave component (Here, Our System-On-Module act as master with KSZ8567 switch and another board is connected to it as slave). I also tried to implement the workaround suggested by KSZ8567 errata data sheet (Module 17: PTP messages get dropped in PTP 2-Step Mode) but still it doesn't work. There is a feature called Tail Tagging in the driver implementation. When I disable this feature, I'm able to see the sync messages but then the switch stops functioning and I can't detect the slave component.
Could you please provide appropriate solution for it?
