Hi,

On our PCB we are designing a microcontroller STM32F413 at 1.8V and are looking for a suitable level translator to 3.3V for the on-board microSD connector (diagram below). The microcontroller only supports up to SDIO v2.0 so we are not expecting to run SDIO in any UHS mode on this board. Would NVT4858 be suitable for our application?

I also noticed NVT4858 has an optional clock feedback output. I guess it is not required for SD cards in non-UHS modes?

Hello Thai1,

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

The device features SIM card supply voltages with range of 1.62 V to 3.6 V, besides, it features the SD 3.0 interface (secure digital).

I consider this device a great option for your design. Nothing will make the device go faster than the V2.0 protocol speed but the V3.0 card will accept the timings from a V2.0 device.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

David
