Hello

I have one system which works; Open Suse 11.4

And one which doesn't; OpenSuse 12.1

the same error is reported both with a cvs download from Savannah and the CD that came with my 8308RDB

Differences

Ver 11.4, found all required packages for ltib

Ver 12.1, had to install rpm-build from the OpenSuse "Factory" repository.

The fault reported

"

ln: failed to create symbolic link `/tmp/rpm-clarocque/BUILDROOT/rpm-fs-4.0.4-1.x86_64/opt/ltib/usr/lib64/rpm/rpmt': No such file or directory

"

The directory rpm exists but there is nothing in it.

There are errors about librpm components not being present in lib64 but they seem to have been built without error.

There are some messages found on google with a similar reported failure but no definitive answers.

Attached is the host_config.log

Can someone give me some direction please?

Regards

I installed OpenSuse 11.4 on this machine and ltib worked just fine. Don't have time to determine why this happened.
