Connecting SFP 1G to T1042 directly to SerDes without Phy on the middle.

Hi 

I wonder if it feasible to Connecting SFP 1G to T1042 directly to SerDes without Phy on the middle. 

I do it today on Ls1046A but i am not sure that t1042 support it.
