Hi, I need some hint (and/or source code) how to write to flash (and read from it) from within the running program (I need to save some parameters between shut down / power up).
I don't use processor expert, but Quickstart.

Use ProcessorExpert tool. There is the sophisticated IntFlash bean that supports FLASH reading/writing operations including safe writing etc.

Go to the FAQ section of this site and do a search on Flash programming. There's a FAQ there that explains in detail how to program Flash memory, with references to various code examples.

sorry to bother you again, I've searched the FAQs, but I've found nothing on programming the flash on the 56F801x DSC.Can you perhaps post the link?

Actually the problem is not that I'm not able to program flash. I use a library named uHFM to save/read data to/from flash. One of my collegue used this library in one of his project (with the same processor) and worked flawless, I did some copy/paste of the code he used (and of the settings in the ELF linker command file) but nothing worked.
I've found a pdf, named "Generic Flash Software Driver for 56F83xx Hybrid Controllers" that explains how to use the uHFM library, but I've found no hint how make the flash in my project to work.

If needed I can post the code (and the ELF linker command file) for some debugging
