I would like to know if the clock trimming capability in the CW is supported using OSBDM08.

Hello and welcome elruocch,

Unfortunately the OSBDM does not support automatic calculation of the required trim value for internal clock generators.
You can refer to AN2312, AN2496 and AN2498 for help with this.

I've checked the ANs.

Do you think that it would be possible to add the trimming feature? I mean, supposing no problem in modifying the firmware, how does the CW manage this option? Could the dll be modified? Or is the command already implemented?

Hi,

AFAIK most of the work for working out the trim is done by the BDM adapter (P&E USB Multilink for example). It needs to measure the response from the target with sufficient accuracy in the first place though. This, I believe is where the problem is with OSBDM/TBDML et al.
