Freescale processors have long been utilized for aerospace and defense applications. This session will describe the most commonly selected devices from the i.MX applications processor family, Qorivva portfolio and the QorIQ platform with Layerscape architecture. A Freescale applications engineer will share successful approaches for improving robustness and safety and mitigating system failures for aerospace environments. The session will also summarize the design collateral and support resources available to simplify the certification process.
