I am interested in this new SoC and specifically the GPU improvements.  However I need to know if the same cores are present in the SoC and simply memory bandwidth etc. has been updated or have the cores been updated themselves.

Unfortunately the current quad plus page does not contain the usual multimedia section that describes the exact cores. 

i.MX6QP|i.MX 6QuadPlus Processors|Quad Core|Freescale

The cores I really need to confirm are:

- 3D, GC2000

- VG, GC355

- 2D, GC320

- Display, IPUv3H

Are these cores identical in respect to registers/addresses/behavior as their i.MX6 quad counterparts?
