The MPC5744P microcontroller is based on the Power Architecture® developed by NXP.

Does anyone know what difference between Power Architecture and PowerPC Architecture?

If I remember it well, PowerPC was former name, subsequently extended to more areas of use with umbrella name "Power Architecture TM"
