SPC5748G part number

hi,

i have MPC5748G DEVKIT  Rev B, the chip is SPC5748GSMKU6(1N81M) QAL1618F

i refence the Ordering Information

my chip Optional fields is S ,it should has no Ethernet, but in fact i can use the ethernet communicate 

with PC, it make me wonder.And i need CANFD ,but this chip have no.

now， i need CANFD 、Ethernet、HSM，follow the datasheet ,i should choice a chip which the

Optional fields is H, if the SPC5748GHK0AMKU6  can fit me?

Hi @haiyang 

if HSM is 'must have' for you, I would reconsider this choice. Let me explain - regardless of "HSM" feature mentioned in the part number, you need to get special custom part number where HSM firmware is installed (it's not installed on standard devices). It's not standard SPC5748G... device but the part number is like SC66... These devices are provided only to selected and approved customers who are ordering very large quantities, so we can offer appropriate support. It's not intended for mass market customers. If you are still interested, please talk to your NXP sales or FAE. If you don't have such contact, you can ask our distributors:

I would recommend rather S32K3 family of devices which have HSE engine available to everyone:

Yes, this part number has CAN FD and ethernet.
