RDVCU5775EVM breakdown

Hello, everyone

I am using RDVCU5775EVM and my development board is having a serious malfunction. I do not know what caused the fault, the fault performance is as follows:

1.VAux 5V power supply is missing, and the related LED is not on.

2. Can not connect to the development board through JTAG.

3. The following points in the RESET circuit are connected to the ground, which is not normal:

I have tried to remove the reset switch, but the above points are still connected to the ground, just like when the switch is closed.

Now the development board cannot be used, but I have an urgent need for use. I hope to get your advice. What might be the problem?

Hi,

Please check the below items:

1. Check whether all MCU power trails (VCORE_1V25, VCCA_3V3, VAUX_5V0) are shorted to GND.
2. Is the SBC in the debug mode (J1 is shorted ) at the failure scenario?

I have checked the items you said, and the result is :

1. Only VAUX_5V0 is shorted to GND, Others(VCORE_1V25, VCCA_3V3) are not.

2. Yes, I have shorted the J1, making the board in Debug Mode. (If not shorted, the board will power down after several seconds )

What should I check then? Is it means the SBC board is broken?
