Not able to download MCUXpresso IDE if account is inactive

As a heads-up: several uses reported a problems with downloading the MCUXpresso IDE setup/installer program.

If pressing the 'Download' button, you might come back to the login screen (to log into your NXP user account):

The likely reason for this is that your NXP account needs re-activation. You should see a link to open a SR (Service Request) which you could use.

Otherwise post a comment here so your account can be re-activated.

I’m not able to get to the download link for the MCUXpresso IDE.
When I click on the 'Download' button I arrive at the 'My Account Home Page'. Also I'm not able to find any download to the IDE under the 'Documentation and Tools Updates' section.
