Cannot Import Processor Data

Having downloaded the data archive from the website, I'm not able to import the processor data for the MCIMX6XxxVN. Having selected the zip archive, I don't have any processors to select and import. I have been able to import an IMX8 processor.

I am using NXP Config Tools V7.

Hello Sam,

if you have installed MCUXpresso Config Tools, the processor MCIMX6XxxVN is not targeted to this product. This product is supported by "Pins Tool for i.MX Application Processors" see https://nxp.com/pinsimx

OK. Strange that iMX8 processors are supported but iMX6 processors are not!

Hi Sam,

In MCUXpresso Config Tools, i.MX processors with Cortex-M cores are supported. Pins Tools for i.MX supports processors with Cortex-A core only.
