Where is information on the codeaurora sunset and how to address build breaks?

When attempting a build I ran into build breaks.

I then find out that codeaurora was sunsetted, and everything was moved to github. 

What would be the proper path to take to rebuild my BSPs so they point to the proper repo in github? 

Would a bitbake -c clean core-image-minimal work? or is there a less invasive fix? 

We build using yocto and the dunfell branch (because of EOL concerns)
