Hello,
I am using an NXP LS1088ARDB reference board. Someone in our lab set the uboot delay to 0 so we are unable to get to the u-boot menu any longer but we require this in our lab. I downloaded u-boot and compiled fw_printenv/fw_setenv in an attempt to reset the bootdelay to something non-zero. In the process of doing that I bricked the board :-( The board no longer comes up in that nothing is coming out of the serial port when I boot and the power light stays orange.
How can I enter the bios so I can boot from an SD card and repair things. If you can offer any other ideas please help!
Cheers,
Dave
Ok so what I have done so far is to change the dips on SW1 to 010000000 as per the getting started guide. This sets the reset configuration word to the sd slot. I am now booting from an sd card that I created from the flex-installer tool. My problem is now that I need to the default boot configuration line and I need to flash the onboard flash with the boot image.
I ended up re-flashing uboot to the onboard flash. Board boots again!
