Hi, Actually i am using the LPC865M201JHI48 microcontroller ,I want to know how internal and external oscillators work. For example, let's take the USART driver. How does it generate the clock frequency using the internal oscillator or an external oscillator? just explain those stop using this clock generation diagram

About the clock generation, recommend you check Clock configuration in MCUXpresso IDE.

Can also config clock through it.
