Hi NXP Community,

I'm trying to use pin 2 of LPC54114J256 microntroller as GPIO function.
Below mentioned are the pin functionalities:

And pin has below shown internal configurations:

Below is the pinmux configuration in MCUXpresso:

Even after providing external pull-up, I'm not able to drive Logic HIGH output in this pin.

I have double-checked all necessary hardware, and everything seems to be in order.Thinking that pin might have gor damaged I tried with new microcontroller but facing same issue in that as well. I'm reaching out to the community for any suggestions or alternative ways to troubleshoot this problem. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any insights, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Akshay C Jain

Hello @akshay_c_jain,

Could you please try setting the Direction and GPIO initial state to Not Specified?

Also, could you please try using the GPIO configuration mentioned in the LPC5411x User Manual. Table 210. Suggested IOCON settings for I2C functions? It might be useful to try with both GPIO 4mA and 20mA drive.
