I just ordered the position/orientation sensor dev kit LPC54102. It comes with some sort of Windows app but I expect I will want to create my own firmware for it. What is the recommended (best supported) ARM IDE for this board and which Segger debugger box has the right functions and pinout for download to this board? As for the IDE, the best would be the one that NXP Support likes to use so I could package up a project and send it to them in case I need support.

Hi Bret Foreman o

NXP has MCUXpresso IDE which is free of charge

MCUXpresso IDE|Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) | NXP

and SDK package:

MCUXpresso SDK | Software Development for Kinetis, LPC, and i.MX MCUs | NXP

Besides, Keil and IAR also has IDE can support LPC product.

MCUXpresso SDK can also support Keil MDK and IAR.

Have a great day,
Jun Zhang
