We need more details about the issue to be able to help you. For starters this information would be useful:
- Full Kinetis part number.
- IDE (CodeWarrior, Kinetis Design Studio, IAR, Keil uVision, etc).
- Freescale board or custom PCB? If custom board -> Schematics showing I2C connection.
- Sample code or custom I2C code? If custom code please share it.
- Expected vs actual behavior ("i2c bus becomes busy" is not sufficient).
