Vbat pin not available on MKE04z128vlk4

Dear All,

I intend to use MKE04z128vlk4 for my project and the rtc block available in it. But I could not find a dedicated Vbat pin on it used to to keep the rtc working during power failure.

Could you let me know if there is any way of keeping the rtc block working after power is switched off.

See the discussion about RTC at http://www.utasker.com/kinetis/KL_RTC.html (the RTC in most KE parts is the same as in the KL parts - it has no backup power domain and requires the processor to remain powered in a very low leakage state, usually using a low power 32khZ oscillator rather than crystal.
