Hi, I am currently working on kinetis KEA64 and I found LIN stack "FSL_LIN_2x_STACK_PACKAGE_4.5.9" from NXP pages and found it was well structured with drivers and example designs.

But I want to implement the protocol as a message based and not a signal based using a custom Freescale API and not a LIN API like discussed in page 13 and 14 of application note AN2103 (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN2103.pdf ).

So where can I find the drivers with custom Freescale API or how can I modify current stack to have a custom API unlike with generating configuration files and then integrating them with the stack.

Hi Jananisubraveti,

AN2103 is really very old, it is published in 2000, I don't have that LIN stack now, even find that driver, we still don't have the integration manual to KEA series.

KEA64 is recommended to use LIN stack "FSL_LIN_2x_STACK_PACKAGE_4.5.9",  about LIN 2.X usage, you can refer to this document:

https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-276876

And the LIN_User_Manual.pdf in C:\nxp\FSL_LIN_2.x_STACK_Package_4.5.9\Documentation

Sorry for the inconvenience we bring you.

Have a great day,
Kerry
