RESET pin of a custom prototype board with a K60 remains always low.

We have try to slow down the power up rise time according to community suggestions

regarding similar problem but with no result.

Any other suggestions ?

I had this problem and solved it by making sure the EzPort pin was pulled high.  Discussed here: https://community.freescale.com/thread/312644

1. Turn off the board system.

2. Assert the reset pin and hold it asserted for the remainder of the process.

3. Power on the board

4. Start a debug session and as soon it is starting release the reset button. This will force the debug session to enter.

For further reset connection recommendations refer to the Kinetis Quick Reference User guide: http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/quick_ref_guide/KQRUG.pdf?fpsp=1 Section "2.1.3.4.1 RESET_b and NMI_b" .

Hope this helps.

Hi Stathis,

If your flash memory is blank(No projects programmed), try to program it with an example or a custom project

Keep me informed if this fixed your issue

Dear Hector,

thank you for your fast reply.

The flash is empty but the problem is that with low reset pin I can not communicate with it using PE multilink universal.

So I can not program anything on it.

Best regards

Stathis
