Hi,
I have K60 tower: MK60FN1M0VLQ12
I found very confusing that how much EEPROM available on the chip:
from the table Table 2-11. Orderable part numbers summary (Page 75):
MK60FN1M0VMD12 120 MHz 144 MAPBGA 1 MB 1 MB — 128 KB 100
it indicates that there is 0 byte EEPROM on flash memory
But the SIM_FCFG1 register it reads: 0x0D000F00. From the SIM_FCFG1 field descriptions :
EEPROM size
EEPROM data size .
0000 16 KB -- it indicates there is 16 KB EEPROM
0001 8 KB
0010 4 KB
0011 2 KB
Table continues on the next page...
Memory Map and Registers
K60 Sub-Family Reference Manual, Rev. 3, November 2014
340 Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.
SIM_FCFG1 field descriptions (continued)
Field Description
0100 1 KB
0101 512 Bytes
0110 256 Bytes
0111 128 Bytes
1000 64 Bytes
1001 32 Bytes
1010-1110 Reserved
1111 0 Bytes
Any data backup / eeprom on K60 : MK60FN1M0VLQ12 ?
Thank you,
David Zhou

Hi David,
First of all, MK60FN1M0VMD12 doesn't have the EEPROM.
As K60 series share the same set of registers, the MK60FN1M0VMD12 still has the DEPART bits, however it's meaningless.
Hope it helps.
Have a great day,
