Dear engineers FREESCALE.
They are about 3 years to work with your Kinetis series processors.
For accuracy, the K60 and then K70.
And 'more than a year that feels around rumors regarding a possible X-series, which has superior performance to the K70.
The competitor has made MICROCHIP PIC32 microprocessor series up to 2M of internal flash memory.
FREESCALE expect the thing to develop a series of Kinetis processor with more memory? We have news of a possible way out?

Hi, Maurizio
Up to now, Kinetis X series is still in process. We have a plan for bigger size flash chip in Kinetis family.
Hope my reply can help you.
Best Regards
Paul
I would like to have a date, 2014, 2015?
Thanks Maurizio
Hi Maurizio
Kinetis K64 and K24 have been released this summer with 256KB RAM and up to 1MB of Flash based on an ARM Cortex-M4 core @120MHz with FPU and new features like Crystal-less USB or lower-power capabilities.
End of 2014 new Kinetis K6x derivatives extending the K64 should be available embedding more flash and with a significantly higher core frequency.
Regarding the availability of Kinetis-X, even if there is no official message, a full-production in 2015 seems more reasonable.
Did I answer well your question ?
Greg
hello
now we got to the end of 2014.
But still no sign of new products.
Any news?
Maurizio
Dear Greg,
thanks for your reply.
I hope that the freescale releases a K70 with more than 1M of flash memory.
Maurizio
