Write Protection of the EFlex PWM Module in DSC84xxx and DSC827xx Families

I've noticed that in this module ( Enhanced Flexible PWM ) there aren't write protected registers, in particular for the safety relevant registers ( i.e. : PWMA_SMnDISMAP0-1 which enable/disable the fault protection ).

I would like to have an explanation about this choice since on the PWM Modules of previous DSC families ( like DSC803-2x or DSC83xx ) such possibility was always included .

To my opinion, this is a quite important missed feature for a PWM module ..

If, on the other hand, there is a way to write-protect the PWM safety registers, let me know how .

yes, you are right, the Enhanced Flexible PWM module does not support safety mode, all register can be modified anytime without write-protection.
