Step by step guide to excluding MBAR region from data cache?

Can anyone help with trying to exclude the MBAR region on a M5475? I tried going through the cache section of the reference manual, but all my attempts (a while ago) to get the CACR set up correctly failed.

I'm assuming this is a common thing to want to do.
