5275 USB device initialization

I'm having a problem initializing the USB device for the 5275.  Following the steps in the reference manual,

I first configured GPIO for USB.

Then I issued a device reset.

I downloaded the stringBufs, CfgBufs and EpBufs(one EpBufs per logical endpoint, total of 4).  After downloading these, I wait for the USB_DAR[CFG] bit to clear, and it never does!! 

Any help would be appreciated, I'm pretty desperate at this point!  BTW, I'm using the 5275 eval board.

Im working on the same board and i noticed that you were downloading the configuration data before you wait for the USB_DAR[CFG] to assert, I wanted to know if you ever got the initilization to work because thats what im in the process of doing.
