Hi,

I have an MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro kit that came with a CodeWarrior USB-TAP. I've found a download page for

CWX-PPC-CMWFL-EX
Evaluation for CodeWarrior Development Studio, PowerPC ISA, Communications Processors Edition, Version 8.6, (Windows-Hosted)

and

CWX-PPC-LLPLT-EX
Evaluation for CodeWarrior Development Studio for PowerPC ISA, Linux Platform Edition Version 2.6 (Linux Host)

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=CWS-PPC-LLAPP-CX&parentCode=CWH-UTP-P...

So I'm 'attempting' to download them ... with not much success so far.

The BSP instructions indicate that I can bring up CodeWarrior and use its Tools->Programmer to flash new images to the board, but if there is a command line equivalent, I'd be happy with that.

Thanks!
Dave

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately there is no command line system for driving an USB-TAP independantly.

The Linux and Windows hosted CodeWarrior tools do have command line windows where you can drive the USB-TAP functionality but you must have the CodeWarrior Tools installed to use them.
