I've just received the JM Badge Board Rev D.
My development machine runs Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) on an Intel Core i7 920 CPU.
I use Visual Studio 2010 Professional and have downloaded and installed the Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4 (May 2010).
Pressing E4 enables the board to control the cursor movement by tilting and mouse clicks using E1-3 as expected. This seems to be working ok.
However, when I select E8 twice to enter Windows 7 sensor mode the Badge Board generates random continuous input. The only way to stop it is to unplug the board. Once unplugged the physical keyboard acts as if the control key is being held down. The mouse keys also do not function normally. The JM Badge Board is not detected as a Windows 7 Sensor device.
Is this a known issue?
I bought the JM Badge Board so I could simulate input from a Windows Phone 7 Series device; I'm developing software for the 7 series mobile platorm using VS2010 and Expression Blend 4.
Can anybody give me some instructions on how to get the JM Badge Board recognised as a Windows 7 Sensor device please?
