I use a P&E CyclonePro with an adapter bord to program my MC9S08QD2 device. Reprogramming works but if I try to start the debugger I get the message "Failed to resume target process. Downloading binary to target..." Can anyone help me what could be the reason?
I already tried to delete the .metadata and checked for overlapping of addresses but can't see the problem.
Hi Marion,
could you post your complete error message? E.g. it could be the one described in Please Check Your License | MCU on Eclipse .
Or it could be that you haver overlapping memory areas (see Problem Occurred: Flash programming with overlapping memory | MCU on Eclipse )?
Other than that, there is a checklist here: Debugging Failure: Check List and Hints | MCU on Eclipse
I hope this helps,
Erich
Hello Erich,
thanks for your fast response.
Finally in the target settings I used another connection configuration and
the debugger worked...
until now I didn't have the time to check for the difference which caused
the problem, I just use it as it is :smileywink:
Regards,
Marion
