Does CodeWarrior TAP support MPC8641D COP Interface?

Hello All,

I have a few non-functioning MPC8641D powered boards with COP headers that need to be triaged.  It is not clear whether the processors are damaged or if the NVRAM content has been erased / corrupted.

I was wondering if the CodeWarrior TAP (CWH-CTP-BASE-HE) with an appropriate adapter (CWH-CTP-COP-YE) would be appropriate (mainly to examine the processor and NVRAM and maybe re-initialize NVRAM by copying from a working board)?  The CodeWarrior TAP does not list the MCP8641D processor as supported but questions in this forum seem to suggest that it is.  Is this the case?

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

Adrian.

Use CodeWarrior 8.8 for the MPC8641:

Install CodeWarrior and install CodeWarrior 8.8.6 patch for CodeWarrior TAP using.

This CodeWarrior is available using the following page:
