USB TAP serial number

I am trying to connect more than one USB TAP to my PC and then select which to use when debugging with Codewarrior Classic. The Remote Debugging->Edit Connection dialog seems to allow for this, but requires I enter the "USB TAP Serial Number (hex)". Where do I find the serial numbers of my USB TAPs?

Hi,

It should be written on the backside of the USBtap.

But also, you can find from ccs console typing next commands:

(bin) 59 % dele a

(bin) 60 % findcc utaps

USB TAP Serial Numbers:

10261530

Thank you. That solved the problem.

A note to anyone trying to do this, the serial number must be entered as a hex number (with the leading 0x). For example, one of mine has the serial number 12022118. It must be entered 0x12022118.

Under CodeWarrior IDE (classic)

Start the IDE and click on Help | About Freescale CodeWarrior.

Click on Installed Products

Provide us all info displayed.

Or you can save them in a txt file.

Under Eclipse IDE

1- Start Eclipse and click on Help ¦ Freescale Licenses

The Status column gives the status of the license.

Under Product, select it and click on details.

A new dialog show up giving license details.

Provide us all info displayed

2- Start Eclipse and click on Help ¦ About CodeWarrior Development Studio

Under Installed Products, you will see the version used.
