56F8367 JTAG Programming

I am receiving the error "Failed to write to flash" when using CW8.0 to program a 56F8367 device via the JTAG port.  It works fine using identical hardware and an older 8357 device.  I have verified all the JTAG signals at the processor, and it seems to be communicating since it starts the download process.  Are there any changes to the new devices that require addressing for programming?

Hi,

Are you using the right flash programming file 56836x_flash.cfg ?

Can you try to create a project with the wizard (File | New) for this processor ?

By this way the project created will have all default settings to flash an application.
