Hi, everyone! Is there a unique device ID in MC9S08? I failed to find a ID in the manual。

The tools Cyclone programmer from P&E might help you to program your unique number to each MCU.  You can visit their website www.pemicro.com to check the programmer can fulfill your needs.

SDIDH SDIDL should be no difference in the same series device.

i want to realize firmware protection with unique device id, so it has to be different and readonly among chips.

I suspect he may be looking for UUID found in newer S08 MCUs, such as the PA variant.

Yes you are right, I was forgotten of the P family
