CW 7.2 > CW 10 license port

Hi,

I was wondering how to port my 7.2 Node Locked license to CW10?

I copied the orginal licesnse to the CW10 directory and added LM_LICENSE_PATH to my windown environment and it didnt work. I also notice there is no license.dat file in the root directory like 6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 7.2.

I used the same license on 7.1 and  7.2 with no problems, but something is different with CW10.

Also, I notice that the HELP > FREESCALE LICENSE > all the buttons are grey and cannot be used... I think this might be the problem? Is it because I need to download the special edition or something? If so, where/how do I get that?

The license.dat file no longer goes into the root CW installation directory. It should be located in the {CW Installation}\MCU directory. Also, the Classic IDE license.dat file is not compatible with the CW v10 license.dat file.

If you have purchased a CodeWarrior Suite, then you can obtain the MCU v10 license by going to the CodeWarrior licensing portal, signing in, and using the "Get License" option.

I can't get a new license.dat for CW10 form my CWP-STANDARD-NL.

Should I "renew support", "re-host", "upgrade" or do something else (submit a service request) ?
